Truth be told, we all have things we can complain about. We live in a world where circumstances don't always go our way and at times the challenges just seem to never end! The instruction for today is 'Stop Complaining'. Stop releasing valuable energy in a direction that's negative and has the ability to drag you down. I realize this is easier said than done and while there is no perfect science in conquering the art of complaining, there are indeed some tips that work.
Be thankful - Whenever the temptation arises to complain, think of a few things you're thankful for and redirect your energy to a place of gratitude. It will change your perspective almost instantly.
Take responsibility - We've played a role in bringing certain things in our life. We desired a big job with huge responsibility, now we have to deal with all that comes with it. It could be the desire we had to be in a certain relationship, or marriage with children, there are things that come along with all of that. Accept it and think of the blessings instead of just complaining.
Be realistic - Life is not perfect. Things are going to happen. You're not the only one faced with stuff. No one really wants to hear us complaining and whining about our situation all the time. It's likely you'll attract complainers if that's your mindset and who needs that? Focus on the positive to give yourself a mind shift from your present circumstances.
Perspective - The BIG problem facing you now will be less significant in the future. In that case, look forward and not focus on present day situation. Have the will to work on the situation that causes annoyance and remember, this too shall pass.
